Howdy all...
It was a minuscule turn out (11-18-08), but the spirit of drink pushed our pencils nonetheless.
Adam Capps, Shawne Baines ( a new draftee---hmmm...great play on words...applies to drinking and drawing), and I made up the gathering this time. Since we were a small cluster, we worked individually in our sketchbooks...no communal sketching activities...but we had great conversation and great local brews.
Humble Pie has a great delightful atmosphere, but the lighting is substandard for sketching...a bit too low. Perhaps someone can find a similar atmosphere but with better lighting for our next outing.
I suggest this date ...December 9th for the next D & D...and leave it open for discussion as to where we will gather. I have not scanned any images lately so I am posting an old sketchbook image for this gathering...and leave a link for Adam's new website http://www.walterblack.com/...of course you can find sketches of his there.
